Overview

Nuxt Theme Starter

Create Nuxt theme with this GitHub template.

Setup

Make sure to install the dependencies:

# yarn
yarn install

# npm
npm install

# pnpm
pnpm install --shamefully-hoist

Development Server

Start the development server on http://localhost:3000

npm run dev

Production

Build the application for production:

npm run build

Or statically generate it with:

npm run generate

Locally preview production build:

npm run preview

chore: upgrade deps and use app.config

Currently having two issues:

This is related to the renaming on https://github.com/nuxt/framework/pull/6864 and the fact that Nuxt Content still use RC8 for nuxt/kit: https://github.com/nuxt/content/blob/main/package.json#L45

Might be fixed in RC9, this is not a blocker since only a warning.

The other issue is regarding the design tokens @Tahul

[Question/Suggestion] Starter Technology Stack

Hey,

I just looked at the code of this starter as I wanted to create a custom theme too but I am not sure about the technology stack of this starter template. It comes by default with Nuxt Content and Pincea so what if I would like to build an e-commerce theme with TailwindCSS instead?

Maybe the starter should be more generic so that regular users could more easily get into creating custom nuxt themes?
