    App features and functionality

    What?

    • I created a counter app. This app stores positive and negative integers with increment and decrement of 1 respectively.

    Why?

    • This is so the user can keep count of numbers without the fear of forgetfulness.

    How?

    I installed webpack and configured webpack.config.js to create a frontend environment. I installed webhint, stylelint and eslint linters. I created JSON files for each linter. I wrote the HTML code for the app. I created an SCSS file and used a live compiler to covert my sass files to css. I styled the mobile version of the app using the iPhone 12 pro screen as a prototype. I styled the app's desktop version with a minimum screen size of 760px. I created a Variable.js file in the modules folder and stored variables in it to be used in the index.js file. I created a Function.js file in the modules folder and stored a function in it to be called in the event listeners so I adhere to the DRY principle. I created new image consts for the minus, addition and reset buttons and appended them respectively. I added event listeners to each button to add to, subtract from or reset the count. I stored the result in localstorage so the user can get the last count when they re-visit the page.
