A pretty useful use case for deleting a member is when our member cannot be contacted or he/she is offline which makes our team feels less fun and enjoy the HackSquad event.

It would be nice to have a template for raising new issues and also for the pull requests so that it'll be structured and easy for folks contributing to this project.

Solution

I would like to add the templates for issues and the pull request.

On the leaderboards page, the social icons don't have any spacing below them.

I feel it would look better if the social icons were placed a little above the end of the website.

Currently, the Q&A is rendered as a list and we need to scroll a lot to find a particular question. I think an accordion would be much better as it will make it easier to go through the Q&A.

Just realised there is no github link of this repo in the website. I found an enhancement and thought of raising an issue but then found there is no github link in the website. so had to google it. Having a github link might be of some use to other folks too.

The buttons had no focus indicator which is an accessibility issue https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/focus-visible.html

I removed the outline-none from the button component and also added a double focus-visible class to the global styles which will show up white on a black background and black on a white background and therefore work in different color schemes.

This should probably work as according to Nevo this is where the error was occurring, I've wrapped it in a simple try/catch block.

If this PR works then I will create a followup PR which will remove my previous changes in the favor of these ones!

Suggestions:

• It would be better if we create custom 404 page for better user experience in the site.
• If we enter wrong path or route it is showing default Next.js 404 page.
• It would be better if we show some information and Go to home link from the 404 page.

We've noticed a couple of times during Hacktoberfest that our Squad Score is incorrect. It goes down, and then sometimes goes back up. The current score is 64, except we were on 89 last I checked (top 15 on the leaderboard) and we've all done multiple PRs since then.

Go to HackSquad, see score, score has dropped. Logged out, and in again. Tried incognito mode. Tried multiple browsers

PR count shouldn't go down. Now that I know about PRs being shown (https://github.com/novuhq/hacksquad-website/issues/55) the PR count should line up.
