Overview

Company Profile

This web application retrieves real live data from the Financial modeling prep API. It provides financial information about companies listed on Nasdaq 100 and Dow Jones Market indexes. All these companies are listed on the Home page. Users can filter these companies by searching for a specific company or by choosing one from the dropdown. Every company has a specific route that displays all the information about the chosen company.

Setup

Clone this repository

$ git clone [email protected]:Sahar-AbdelSamad/company-profile.git
$ cd company-profile

Run project

$ npm install
$ npm run start

Run tests

To run the test just use the following command!

$ npm run test

Added some dependencies react-redux, react-router-dom, redux, redux-devtools-extension, redux-logger, redux-thunk

Added Linters

Created directories for Redux files using ducks pattern

Fetched and rendered data from this Financial modeling prep API

Added a Home page that lists the companies listed on Nasdaq-100 and DJIA market exchanges

Added a search bar that filters the companies by their name or symbol

Added a dropdown listing all the companies

Added detail page showing data retrieved from the API, every company has a unique route within the SPA

Added a Back button (<) that navigates to the home page

Styled the page following these design guidelines
