This commit closes issue #31. The following changes have been made:

• Migrated buttons from image body to card header
• Fixed jumpy scoll-to-top behavior on clicking page links
• Added thin scrollbar for FF browser See c5ea3a2f602dd3ff2db68d627cf2053d485daa56 for more info
• Organized CSS styles related to buttons
• Other minor improvements

In issue #31 , @Pesc0 mentioned about replacing the image preview button with clickable image for preview. I haven't got around doing that yet, although, I will work on it after @Pesc0 JS refactor have been merged.

All of the changes made have been tested on latest firefox & (almost) latest version of Ungoogled Chromium. Everything is working fine, if something does break, let me know. I will take look :)

We are expanding the site by adding more things (like icons, vim configs, etc..) and making this site as an centre for linux customization i think lol.

This is not the most efficient way to achieve. So if you have a better way, Make sure to suggest ;)

what needs work right now? things i noticed could be improved:

• some of the thumbnails look stretched (on the icons page)
• the menu to select dotfiles/icons/gtk looks a bit weird; the mouse doesn't change shape when hovering
• haven't seen multi image work yet: which themes have more than one image? also: arrows should be hidden when only one image is present.
• add the possibility to close image preview by clicking on the dark background instead of the X on the top right.

Add anything you can think of so we can have a todo-list kind of thing.

How about moving buttons from the card to header & making the tag invisible on hover? There are too many things going on when you hover over a card, buttons are quite big & they take up quite space over the image. Besides, replacing the text with icons for repo, reddit etc from font-awesome or locally uploaded SVGs would be better.

I have already been working on this, and might open a PR soon. Though, I am opening this issue just in case there are some other plans for it

as for why, I feel like the rices that appear when you sort r/unixporn by top of all time are popular enough that they should be on the website.

Enhancement

We have high expectations to make this a linux customising centre. This may be the first move towards that.

As the title says, We do wanna categorise things like dots, icons, vim configs and so on.

For this purpose, I moved the image button to an optimal place. Giving room for category icons in the pull request https://github.com/unixporn-dots/unixporn-dots.github.io/pull/28

I'm planning to create a drop-down box to make it easy to navigate through categories

This is a very low priority issue.
