Getting Started

To get the content of this project locally you need to run this command in your terminal:

  • git clone https://github.com/andersonlebon/web-chat.git

  • cd web-chat

  • run npm install to download all the dependancies of the project

  • Use npm start to run the app in live server

Test

Run npm test to run tests.

    Hello there I am happy to present to you what I did in this pull branches redux-and-main-feature

    In this branch I managed the following tasks: :point_down:

    • [ ] Before entering the chat, the user is prompted to enter his name, which is further used to identify his messages.
    • [ ] Implement saving messages in memory (on the local machine, in local storage, or somewhere else, without a backend).
    • [ ] Each new browser tab is a new chat user. Each new browser tab is a new chat user. The new messages in the chat room should be updated to all opened tabs (live updating for all users). Not use socket.io all.
    • [ ] Implement functionality for sending messages to chat.
    • [ ] Implement functionality to show the message history and load more messages when scrolling chats to the top. (page size = 25)
    • [ ] Please write tests on features where they are needed for you think.
