When I click on the "Applications" does not show anything, I am getting the "bounce" feedback anyway. Probably not compatible with Gnome 41?

Trying to run the extension, no luck. In the extensions application the following message is displayed

"Plank schema not found. Please check your installation."

I now that you have a clock with plank but is it possible to show date time like the gnome extension dash to panel? Right in the taskbar?

I'd like to have an extension setting to not put the "Show Applications" item on the dock. I don't need it and when I remove it manually, it automatically re-appears from time to time. Would be nice if one could disable that behaviour.

I can't add or remove any app shortcuts to my plank. I no options when I right click and item nor can i click and drag off like my normal plank. now when I uninstall extension i dont get back the normal plank functionality as before.

As I saw at the preview images I suppose that the Show Applications button would appear, but with Gnome 40 and opensuseTUMBLEWEED isn't the case. I don't know if this could be a bug because of an old plank installation tho.

Adding an external monitor sometimes causes the dock to float in a position that corresponds to the coordinates of the previous resoulution of the main screen.

So let's say my main screen is in 1080p, when connecting an external monitor with a resolution of 1440p the dock floats somewhere around the lower right quadrant of the screen, looks like the coordinates in use are those that were taken for the positioning in the original screen.

This was a problem with Plank as well, so not sure if this may be solvable from this extension. A workaround is to disable and reenable the extension after the monitor is connected.

When i remove dash to plank extension. and using plank again. i found this error on plank logger.

I don't know if it's possible but plank and default dash has different behaviour with new apps. Because of that it would be nice to have this feature.

The problem with installing dash to plank is that it disables Plank. That is not only unexpected but very unwelcome because all of the precious customization of the Plank are gone with no undo.

From the description one would hope that we keep the Plank and have better GNOME integration.

In my ignorance I assumed that dash to plank would actually integrate Plank better with GNOME so that the Applications startup Time Measure extensions would work.

Ach I don't mean to rain on your parade but perhaps a better explanation of what dash to plank is actually supposed to accomplish might be the best I can expect from sharing this.

I just upgraded to Fedora 36, and hence Gnome 42. I was logging in and out repeating to fix various issues that cropped up. In the process an existing issue I have had for a while became annoying enough I started chasing it down.

The issue I have is that on login into my account via GDM with an Xorg session it takes something like 20 seconds to get the desktop with Gnome. I say with Gnome, because I do get a black background sooner, but nothing else. If I disable Dash to Plank it is instant.

Suggestion: It would be interesting to allow the configuration on all monitors(show on all monitors, llike Dash to Dock or Floating Dock), currently the configuration only works on one. For now, everything is fine in Pop OS 22.04
