Makes downloading Scratch projects easy. Simply enter two project IDs and click start. No need to pick the right format or include the assets, all of this is done automatically and in the browser.

How to use

1. Go here.
2. Enter a project ID to start downloading at.
3. Enter a project ID to stop downloading at.
4. Click Start! and wait for the project files to download.

That's it!

Depreciation Notice

Due to Scratch planning to require a token to access projects, this site will become unoperational as soon as Scratch implements the change. When such time occurs, this repository will be archived and no longer maintained.

Option to skip blank or shared projects

Two togglable options should be added to the page to skip certain types of projects and speed up download times, such as blank projects with the cat on a white background or projects that are shared and unlikely to be removed from the Scratch website.

If the Blank Project button is clicked, projects are compared to the default Scratch 1, 2 or 3 project files depending on the file type, and skipped during the download if there is a match.

Unshared projects can be determined if the Scratch Project API returns code: "NotFound". If the name and description of the project are given instead, then it is shared and can be skipped with the Shared Projects button. This is likely to stop working when scratch-www #6773 is fixed, but is useful for preserving unshared projects as quickly as possible before they can't be accessed anymore.

Handle `429`

We should handle 429 errors, so that projects aren't skipped when too many requests have been made. Not an issue as long as you are not making more than 10 requests every second (https://github.com/LLK/scratch-rest-api/wiki#rate-limits).
