Bookmarklet exploit that can force-disable any extension installed on Google Chrome

Instructions

Here are the instructions to using this exploit! There are two ways, using the GUI and using the ids, the GUI method is better

Using the GUI

Credit to CompactCow#4717 for the amazing UI!

Go to the file gui.js and copy everything and create a new bookmark by right clicking on your bookmarks bar and selecting add page
Paste the code in the field that says URL and name it whatever.
Visit https://chrome.google.com/webstorex. (This is a 404 page, and that is ok.)
Click the bookmark (Make sure you are on the page above!)
Use the menu to toggle your extensions!

Using IDs

Disabling

Visit chrome://extensions and on the extension you want to disable click on Details
Copy the text in the URL after the ?id=

For example if you have this URL: chrome://extensions/?id=echoontop you would only copy echoontop

Go to the file bookmark.js and copy everything and create a new bookmark and use the code you copied as the Page URL
Visit https://chrome.google.com/webstorex. (This is a 404 page, and that is ok.)
Click the bookmark (Make sure you are on the page above!)
Put the ID you copied into the text box.

You're done! The extension should now be disabled.

Enabling

Visit chrome://extensions and on the extension you want to enable click on Details
Click View in Chrome Web Store
You will see a banner at the top of the page that says This item has been disabled in Chrome. Enable this item
Click on Enable this item

You're done! The extension should now be enabled.

New problem

I have been using this for a while then One day I turned it on and it automatically set them to off but when I checked the extensions, they were still on, and now it won't let me turn them off, it turns blue and grey but doesn't actually work.

Extensions showing as disabled on restart, not actually disabled - May be patched 💀 😢

This was probably patched in the new ChromeOS build (it works on windows computers still), but when I do all the steps, it just has everything disabled, but they're not actually disabled. I think that either admins patched it or the new ChromeOS patched it. If there is any possible solution, please tell me.

it worked at first then when about 40 mins ago the buttons were just grey and did not do anything but the 2 second method still works so for bother you it's just the first one is easier

Chrome Policys

This is not necessarily an issue, more a request. Is it possible for you to make a version of this that allows us to edit chrome policys?

My school and a lot of other schools use more than just an extension they use chrome://policys to block and get rid of features on the chromebook. If you found a way to let us disable and enable them we could download linux and even add new google accounts on our chromebook. It would be a game changer in the unblocking society just like this was. If its possible to remove extensions that have been placed by admins it should be possible to remove policies placed by admins.

Bruh?

I tried this at school and the link for the chrome webstore does not work, nor am I able to use the bookmarks feature due to the school disabling/blocking them years ago before this even was released.

Correctly link to the v106+ method and fix typo

Currently, on the README, the link for if you have chromeOS version 106 does not work, and there is a typo in that sentence. This PR fixes both issues in order to reduce confusion.
