Getting Started

To launch the project locally:

Step 1:

  • Clone this repo locally using git and the following git command

    git clone [email protected]:zhadier/Leaderboard.git

Step 2:

  • Run npm install
  • Run npm start

This is a JavaScript leaderboad list app. In this project I used Webpack and ES6 modules. As well as HTML, and CSS for styling the app. When submitting the scores the data is preserved thanks to the external Leaderboard API service.

    Your code looks amazing, it really shows how much effort you put into this. 👍 I love the fact that you added unique features like easter eggs and theme-styled pictures.

    • the code looks clean and organized.

    Things to improve:

    • The eastern eggs are not very intuitive. You should label them so people don't think is a bad feature.
    • the scroll bar is difficult to see. Maybe you could play with the opacity.
    • You should add environment variables to hide your id. People could hack your scores 😨 .

    • Created a new game in the Leaderboard API.
    • Implemented the "Refresh" button (receiving data from the API and parsing the JSON).
    • Implemented the form "Submit" button (sending data to the API).
    • Used async and await JavaScript features to consume the API.

    • Plain HTML markup added with minimum styling using wireframe for the Leaderboard project
    • Used gitflow workflow
    • Used webpack
    • Added local storage
    • Used ES6 modules, with import and export to make basic functionality for displaying and adding scores

The to-do list project is an app that allows users to successfully organize their day by inputting prioritized tasks.
