Description

Solace is a personal project by me, for me. That aims to replace Tabliss as my new page / home page program. It is heavily heavily inspired by Tabliss, however I aim to output my own implementation on the webpage with some extra features such as a Spotify web player and bookmarks that don't oddly position themselves in relation to the other elements on the page. This will not be a direct copy of tabliss as I won't (at least not now) implement features such as giphy backgrounds, personal wallpaper uploads etc. Although if this project gets big enough I may very well aim to make it more public and aim to implement such features, though at that point I may just try and provide my own pull requests to tabliss instead of making my own webpage from scratch.

Missing "settings.json" in src/

After installing all dependencies and trying to run the app it yells 3 errors. all of them saying the file "settings.json" is missing modules imports. Error cause because file "settings.json" is absent. Needs a white wizard to come and add the file to repo.

Weather Component

Rewrite Weather Functions to allow for only the header of weather to be clickable to show / hide details

Currently the entire weather component as it's displayed on the screen can be clicked to show / hide information. Rewrite component so that header is only clickable.

Resize Backgrounds to prevent looking skewed

As the code currently is, after fetching backgrounds from Unsplash it displays them and forces them to fit the viewport (i.e. 100vw, 100vh) however, settings the view height to 100 squishes the images quite a lot. Need to figure out how to vertically size the images so that they do not look squished but only a minimal amount of the image is hidden when vertically unsquishing the image.
